This program of study is designed to prepare the student to create, produce, and distribute interactive media including video, audio, and 2D for purposes of communication and entertainment. Students will have the opportunity to develop basic design skills for application to visual problem solving. Additionally, students are expected to develop skills in project management and team collaboration demonstrating business and communication practices required for employment in the worldwide workplace. The program will culminate in the preparation of a professional entry-level portfolio.
Lynn began her career in television news working for the major networks (ABC, NBC and CBS) as well as CNN in Washington, D.C. Years later, she transitioned into corporate television. To date, she has written and produced hundreds of corporate videos for numerous Fortune 100 companies. Clients include such companies as The Dial Corporation, American Express, Kroger and numerous health care facilities. In addition she has volunteered her skills to support several non-profit organizations both on a local and national level. Today, she produces weekly video spots in the field for Fry’s Food Store, a subsidiary of Kroger Foods. She has taught part-time in the classroom for nearly 20 years and within the past year began teaching on-line.
When he is not teaching Nathan is an award winning art director for The Marketing Arm in Dallas Texas, one of the top promotions companies in the world. Working with big brands like Frito-Lays, ATT, GameStop and Pepsi, he produces digital media solutions including in-store signage, packaging, video, user interface, and 360 strategy for nation wide campaigns. Nathan also has his own freelance business and helps the non-profit organization Children’s Relief International, a small 501-C3 that helps the world’s poorest children.
