The Certificate in Web Design and Development is designed to prepare students for careers in the Web Design and Development field. The objective of this program is to provide students with the skills necessary to function in the various areas of Web Design and Development. The program provides an education for creative people focusing on the use of electronic technology while incorporating the basic theories of graphics, text, and interactivity for the web. This combination of conventional and electronic techniques offers students a knowledge base essential for entry-level positions in this industry.
As Creative Director/Brand Manager for a Marquee Graphics company, Sarrah spends most days designing and coding. She also does freelance work in the areas of Web Design, PPC Marketing, SEO, and Media Project Management for a variety of clients. She holds an MBA in Marketing, and a BFA in Computer Animation. Sarrah has been teaching classes in WordPress, HTML, CSS, and Internet Marketing at Sanford-Brown College Online for several years. She has served as a Mentoring Lead for SIGGRAPH, Production Coordinator for Evolve CG, and is currently the Project Manager for the ‘Women Who Code’ Tampa group.
Ron Stefanski has over seven years of professional experience in Internet Marketing across varying industries. He has developed and taught Internet Marketing courses for three different colleges and has created his own personal website that students can utilize for supplemental learning materials located at www.OneHourProfessor.com. He earned his Masters of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Benedictine University and is currently a doctoral candidate at Colorado Technical University with a focus in Higher Education Teaching and Learning.
